Awesome shot, incredible tones, lovely composition, love the high contrast too, nicely done

The contrast of this shot is amazing to me. The dark tones of the letters in the signs, with just a touch of lightness, the leading lines on the porch forcing the eye towards the door, the hints beyond the windows of something within. Really makes me want to pull that door open and see what is inside. Very very well done...

Really nice and rustic. Looks like something out of an old Charlie Chaplin movie.

I gave this a fave and now I'm coming back to comment. This is my favorite shot of the challenge. The details and contrast are wonderful. I really love it. It gives a feeling of emptiness, as well as a feeling of wanting to know what is inside now. If it is still being used (which we may assume, from the broom on the porch), or if it is abandoned. Wonderful job.

Like the PP here, gives a feeling of age and abandoment. Well done in conveying an old rustic feeling.
