Sunset at Montana de Oro State Park about 1 mile from my home. I think I live in one of the loveliest places. It was an incredible sunset so after the challenge I will post some of the pics with color.
In September a young man, an incoming freshman at Cal Poly, was here on an Orientation program and was swept off these rocks by 10 foot rogue waves. The other students tried to save him, but could not. His body was found the next day. I dedicate this photo to him.

Oh Dawn, I LOVE this photo! I love the perspective that the tiny trees on top of the rock formation give this! This is underrated to the point of being a travesty!
