Here is my lovely black cat Gizmo. She is looking a little old now with some white whiskers.
Taken with my new body (400D) and my new 50mm f/1.8 lens. Very happy with Bokeh effect with the new lens.

...and again, i ask myself the rhetorical question: how can anyone not LOVE cats? BEAUTIFUL! and kudos--it's not easy photographing black cats. I had one for 16 years and I have only a handful of good shots of her from my Canon AE-1 35mm camera. Good luck in challenge!
Like the composition but I'm a little bothered by the pupils being light on the bottom. Could be a reflection but it's not sharp and there are no catchlights to give dimension to the eyes there.
