originally intended for the long exposure challenge but I missed the deadline. Just not enough time. I have been wanting to do a still life painted by light. Doesn\'t have the normal paint with light feel but I like it anyway. I used a very bright led light. May try a dimmer tungsten light in the future. I did supplement with a flash just barely skimming the top of everything.

Very nice still life. Great job on the lighting, and I like the material you've used as a base for the subject material. Although, I suspect that's probably one of the most commented items for you concerning this photo? :D Very nice fade to black in the background. Well done. Hope this did alright for you in the challenge.
Lighting is quite nice for this still life. Arrangement of the objects outside the basket may be just a little too "orderly". Having some of the elements closer and leaving some negative space between groupings may add more of a sense of balance. Or may not.
Nicely composed. Seasonally very timely. I look forward to learning more about the set up. I wonder if the basket horn might be slightly better if the mouth was facing the camera slightly more. 8.
