Yeah, that´s me, in a dress with makeup on, let no man or woman doubt my masculinity after this :P Was going to do a cooler shot of myself, outdoors with a wicked look but the weather was extremely crappy here in Iceland today so a studio shot was the only option.
Anyway, it´s Henný´s dress and she put on the makeup of course and she also took this picture. Still my idea, lighting, post processing and I gave her specific instructions regarding the composition, still had to crop it a little bit. She is also in this challenge, was her idea to take her shot and while I snapped her photo, she told me what she wanted and how it was to be taken and she processed and chose her shot herself, I merely helped her execute it. Lighting is the same with the two shots. Taken at 35mm.
Lit with just two lights, one big softbox from the front and a smaller up behind and above my head.
Processing is mostly up with the contrast, down with saturation, a lot of cloning and healing brush on the floor as it was pretty dirty. Also added some vignetting and burning of the backround and finally sharpened after resizing. Firmly think this will bomb but I think it´s funny and also no way I was going to dress up as a woman, go through that much trouble and then not submit a shot :P

Vel af sér vikið og ég vona að þú náir enn betri árangri á nýju ári. Það er svo gaman að fylgjast með framförunum. Dpc er stundum skrítinn staður, en eitt er víst - hér er hægt að læra og ná framförum.

I thought this was you!! Laughed my silly ass off every time I came back to it! My husband has the same sense of humor and I could see him doing this just to get a laugh!

b) squatting on the chair makes no sense yet it works. way to use your right brain!
c) if you get a ribbon then you'll have to look at yourself in a dress all week!

Very interesting! Great lighting and color. I think the off centered composition would have worked better if you'd been on the right instead of the left. Then again?
Lol. The pose is remiscent of SNL. Very well captured with great attention to the finer details such as the curl of the left toe and neighbors over the chair and then the facial expression with that gaze. Bump.
