Liked the colors of this leaf. I taped into the lamp cover and had most of the leaf hanging down in with the light behind it. I put the camera on a tripod and shot with the super macro setting on the camera and +1, +2, +4 and +10 close up filters as well as a warm circular polarizer and uv filters.

Beautiful shot. Geat colors and lighting. Good composition. Nice job. 7. I did a shot like this a few contests ago. It really cool to get the fine detail of the leaf.
At this level of closeup, the leaf looks like a river with irrigation channels. And, in a way, that's what those veins are. Brilliant idea, beautifully executed.
This is a beautiful up-close capture of an autumn leave--very appropriate for this time of year. I love the detail you captured, particularly the veins of the leaf and the colors fading into each other.
