Shot RAW at a stream not far from my house. Processed in DPP and PS CS. DPP steps included adjusting white balance, removing any sharpening and send two versions to PS. One version with the exposure as shot and one underexposed 1.17 stops.
In PS, set the background image to the proper exposure and set the underexposed image to a layer above. Slight rotation of the frame to correct a tilted horizon (3.46 deg. CW) and crop. Selected the blown out sky with the magic wand and applied that selection as a layer mask to the underexposed layer. Applied a curves adjustment layer to the background image. Finally, merged visible layers, resized, USM (200/0.3/1), upped canvas size to add border, saved for web.
