one of many shots, i took during this week of bjoessi (thanks to your patience, dude!).
converted from raw (with the cs2 converter), curves, selective colors, selective shadows/highlight adjustments, a garadient map layer on hard light mode, some dodging and burning and at last resizing, smart sharpening and saving for web
hope it does a little better than my previous entries...
(even if the background is a little tilted, i know...)

I think this is a wonderful photo of both portrait as well as landscape. Very interesting! And his eyes (well I guess, eye,) are piercing against the the neutrals of the photo. Love it! 10!
You might get yelled at for it, but I like the sharpness here. For the subject matter, it really works. His eye color, strangely enough, is what I like most about this. It's a lovely contrast to the warm tones in the rest of the image.
This is an astonishing shot, that I found immensely impactful and interesting. I worry that you're going to get penalised for the off-level horizon. However, the colours are great - I particularly like the match between the figure and the field. Having him half off the camera is a particularly bold statement - that for this person, the mountain is as important as half his face. Superb job.
Love this...I might have to vote this challenge JUST so I can vote on this image. I would love to see it on the front page. The tones and composition are great.
