I don't get the streaks of light on the left side. Maybe you cropped out the sun and that is a trace of glare. I don't know. But I do think the clouds are very interesting and justify this portrait.

Interesting rocks; looks like there may have been a spot of water on the lens towards the lower left and I find the sun's rays on the left distracting.
