Taken near a half open window to get the light going over the cracked egg only, thus highlighting it.

It came out much darker than I expected, but the end result was ok so I stayed with it.

Hardly any PS at all which is nice.

Also, for what it's worth, i hate eggs!

Nice shot, but that large bubble in the opened egg is very distracting. Backside of egg to the left is also slightly overexposed.

Another one that I'll be coming back to find out just how did you get that eff yoke and white in there without messing up the entire carton! :)

This is a wonderful shot, the lighting is perfect, the shadow falling across the egg, coming in from the top right is just the right brightness to look like sunshine coming through a window and making the egg yolk look like the sun. The bubble in the white of the egg also adds to the shot. Lucky or planned? I'm really having a hard time finding any fault with this shot overall, a 10!

What a great way to show the inside of an egg. Great exposure, color and composition. Nice shot, clever solution to the challenge.

Great idea! I love the lighting direction, but it does seem a little harsh up in the corner - not too bad though. The yolk vs the brown eggshells is great. I would've liked a bit more space on the left side, giving the accent of the piece room to breathe a bit, I think the crop is a little too tight on that side. A sound photo. 6

Very nice shot! :-) Maybe a bit much shadow on the yellow of the egg.
