The angle you chose for the shot is very interesting. The simple triangle shapes makes for a nice composition. The blue hue of the sky frames the shot well and also has a triangle shape. Good contrast of the shadows.
Good take on the category. My only suggestion would be to use another angle to cut out the other houses in the neighborhood, they are a little distracting. Just a thought, nice idea.
Ah, construction, my father was a carpenter and the house is naked at first, inside and out. Wonderful concept, the lighting couldn't be much better, such a beautiful sunny day and the cropping is close to perfect. You get an 8, may go higher before we are done.
