Cute. Congratulations are in order on a new member of the family? As for the photo itself, couple of things holding it back IMO. It's a little flat and the tonal range is short (needs more contrast, and the levels could be adjusted for a truer black and white). The focus isn't as sharp as it should be, especially around the face and eyes. Best of luck to you in the challenge.
I hope you like your photo being taken. It's obvious your parents like photography and I'm sure a great part of your life will be spent in front of a camera. See ya next week I'm betting...
