Very nice tones, color and contrast. I'm glad you picked a slight rise in the sand (or outward extension, hard to tell) as it breaks up what would have been a static shoreling in parallel with the horizon. As a portrait it probably could stand to be a little tighter on the young lady, but still a nice shot nonetheless. Good luck in the challenge.
