Nice colors on ground, curving road, and bending trees. Wish that there were some leaves falling, a few days or a week earlier would have helped, and perhaps a touch more contrast.
This is the sort of shot that I find looks great as a large print but has too much fine detail for a 640 pixel DPC entry. I could imagine this one on my wall.
While some may not notice, one can see the bend of the grasses in the prevailing direction of the wind. What I like about this is the misty gray day - adds to the notion of a chilly breeze blowing.
Seems slightly out of focus IMO. Maybe using a smaller aperture or focusing out a bit further could help? Also, I think getting a bit closer to the ground could add more depth by making the leading lines in the road wider. Just a thought.
