This is a Koru (a symbol of spiritual harmony, growth, new life, and peace). My wife and I were on our Honeymoon in New Zealand and the Ferns were growing new branches. Each new branch/leave starts out like as a Koru and then unfurls to a big leaf like in the background.

lots of bokeh (foreground and background) but not really a strong enough subject, and the composition isn't very interesting either. Would have been slightly more interesting if both the stems were in focus and prehaps from a slightly different angle
