I just can't help it but to me he looks like a young pup. You'll probably come back and tell me that he's an oldie and I believe you, but to me the shot looks like a cute sleeping pup. Also not keen on the two different backgrounds, of the two the dark blue jumper is better.

I feel like i could reach out an pet him. I like the focus, it is very clear, and the framing you have used. The only nit is hte background in the lower right, but i understand why that couldn't be changed. Just let 'em sleep! karmat
