This was a live fire training excercise shot on the Big Island of Hawaii. We were set down on the "battlefield" in the first line of Black Hawks (the picture shows the third round of people being flown in). Once on the ground, there were bullets flying and charges blasting... complete chaos. I was able to get a feeling of what a real battlefield felt and sounded like, without the fear of being shot at! It was a really amazing experience. This story aired on KHNL News 8 here in Honolulu.
