I think you had a very clever idea that went over most people's heads. This may have been because you yourself went overboard with it. Instead of presenting him in his "natural" environment, you could have used him in a studio set-up as if he were a "normal" Woody. (And with more bend in the knees ;>þ)

I like the camoflage idea... I think I'm ok with the BYOW concept, since you made a strong effort to not only meet the challenge, but to be creative about it.
Sorry doesn't cover the subject matter of the challenge. it also appears a touch fuzzy to me. The cut pieces force you to find the (created figure), but if you don't look long enough you miss it.
