Wow just about sums it up. The leading lines into the forest are incredible, it really does seem enchanting and the tones just bring it all home. Composition couldn't be any better. Beautiful work.
This could be the beginning of a fairy tale story.....
Once upon a time, in the deep woods, a golden light appeared, as we came accross "An Enchanted Forrest".......
Man, you are superb at processing these pics for max impact.(not taking anything away from your composition, etc.) It looks exactly like an enchanted forest would look.
THIS is AWESOME!!!! Sorry. . but its so beautiful, and processed so well that it makes a WONDERFUL landscape -- better than the one with the wild thing in in it :) But the wild thing is pretty cute too :)
i had looked at this photograph a couple of weeks ago, but never commented coz you're just TOO GOOD .. and i felt humbled etc .. but i'm gonna bite the bullet and say just wot i think ...
it is unforgettable, stunning and gorgeous .... its like looking at something beautiful in nature ... that feeling of awe .. (i think i've used up all my flattering adjectives on this one image!) ....
just looking up at the votes while i write this and can see 66 x 6's .... who are those ppl??!!! ... their taste is obviously in their AH's ... and a vote of 1 ... must've been having a very very bad day .....
Well this is just lovely Jimmy! Beautiful location enhanced by amazing processing. Feels like you could be hiding behind a tree and waiting for a group of elves to come walking down the path. Excellent work my man!
I've been meaning to come back and comment on this - absolutely mesmerizing. Truly enchanted. Your processing really makes this what it is, but I don't want to discount the basic photograph - it's the curves of the two trees against the straight trunks of the others that really give this life. Nicely seen and marvelously processed.
