This was an aMAZING hike we did in the mountains. Maybe our favorite ever! We didn't realize how cool it was going to be when we started. A friend told us it was a "nice little walk". It ended up being a 3,200 foot elevatiion gain in just 3-1/2 miles: verrrrrry steep, going from aspen covered trails at the ground all the way up to tundra and snow. And the payoff was the most majestic mountain range We had ever seen! I wish I could take a photo that does it justice!
I know exactly what you mean! That is one thing that impresses me about this park, and Glacier too. You just cannot even begin to get the feel of what YOU are seeing reduced to even 30 photos!
However I am really enjoying all these photos I SHOULD have took!!..:)

WOW! That is one steep hike. Great shot of it. I know photos can't capture the feeling perfectly, but this one sure should come close! A great memory to carry you forward. :)
