Last weekend, my friends and I went boating around the Ninepin group of islands off the coast of Sai Kung (it's one of the many coastal towns of HK). The Ninepin islands are uninhabited, barren rock formations with a very thin topsoil that cannot support trees. Some of the rock islands, however, look absolutely stunning. This one, in particular, is characterized by columns that look like buildings. When viewed from a distance, they resemble a sky-scraper neighborhood, with a green mountain as the backdrop (incredibly HK-like!).
