I decided to use two brushes with completely different uses for this challenge the fact that they are brushes gives the connection but they are used for completely different tasks as one is to clean the teeth and the other is to freshen the house, I wanted a nice bright background so I used a bit of yellow card as the paint brush was black, I think all the shades go well together hope you all do to

Not a bad idea. The result is kind of flat/two-dimensional (yeah, yeah, all photography is two-dimensional, I know). Maybe have the objects at different distances from the lens/use some shadow to add depth/change the height of the objects in relation to one another. It does meet the challenge well.
You have a functional photograph of two types of brushes (which actually makes them somewhat "related"), but in a very static composition - there is nothing going on to make it interesting, and the dull, even lighting doesn't help, either.
Quite funny shot, well executed! I would prefer a different color for the background. Perhaps a light blue. The yellow looks a bit dirty if you know what I mean.
