I'm not really a cola drinker - I've had this bottle-can for more than a year. I saw a fantastic poster for the Tokyo Photography Museum last time I went into Tokyo - it featured a champagne bottle bursting its cork in 1982 - in a magazine article about the photographer Hashimura, it said the photo shutter speed was 1/100,000 of a second.(I hope I can get to see the exhibition...//www.syabi.com/details/hashimura.html>here).
I set it up in my famous bathroom. I shook the bottle and unscrewed the lid ... not much exciting happened. I needed some more explosive power - but no Polo mints handy (or whatever they are). However, there is a can of baking powder in the fridge.
The baking powder worked wonderfully; some Pepsi hit the ceiling (fortunately, only some minor drops on my camera). I really needed an assistant, but she was out of the house and probably wouldn't want to be involved. ;>þ
I should do it again to get a better background, but I think it's better to keep the camera away from the sticky substances (as it is, my cable release got a bit wet in the switch).
And, oh, maybe it it doesn't "sell" the product, but you should all give me 10 for gumptiopn. ;-)
Neat Imaged, USMed, levelsed, resized, USMed again, rotated, resized, saved, suffered from an awful score. ;>þ
