this doesn't look like a macro to me (it looks like a lamp - but it's pretty hard to tell what i'm looking at) - that having been said, this is a great picture - the use of light is fabulous, and the unusual composition is refreshing.
AWESOME SHOT! How do you people come up with such creative ideas. This one is definitely a favorite! What is it? How did you do it? I'll have to check back after the challenge. You should ribbon with this one!
