I won the simple pleasure challenge with another version of that picture (sepia tone). Couldn't post this one for the challenge due to the basic editing rules. Anyway, I felt to post that version I think it's great!
I agree with the previous commenters. this is awesome as well but if I HAD to choose I'd probably choose the full black and white image. this takes a tiny bit away from the facial expression since the focus is so much lower.
good choice with the black and white .... this looks cool too but the complete black and white is my favorite. congratulations on your ribbon... it was totally well deserved!!!
