I just love how this photo looks. While I was shooting, it wasnt very promisable, but then some simple PS magic (crop/Saturation/Levels), and it looked pretty good!
Sadly, 5 minutes after this photo, the flower became all curly and ugly, because the light was heating so much.

Gorgeous, background is not to harsh and white, blends in well with the flower. Focus is nice and sharp and the relatively shallow depth of field really brings the flower to life, so crisp.
I like the composition of your photograph. However, the colors more likely resemble pink tones. I do not see purple in the subject. The photograph is still beautiful. I vote an 8.
Nice, but the background color is a bit off. It looks like it should be white. and it is kind of burnt yellowish. Correct the white balance and this would be much better.
