Early morning in The Perisher Range of the Snowy Mountains, Australia, the sun is shining perpendicular onto the frozen spring snow cover.
Nature's organic lines are juxtaposed with my own linear ski imprints. This could symbolise human impact on nature (in some decades one may not be able to ski in Australia), but also nature's impact on humans (we're really here on a conditional visit).

Very simple photo...maybe should have taken it in evening when low sun gives it more texture. Just noticed that the straight schraches must be from skates or skies. I would probably go for natural lines and concentrate on spot where they give moust interesting curves.
I've been a little hard on photos that are just lines... but these lines lead to all sorts of interesting places, plus you have the juxtaposition of curving lines with straight lines. The monotone gives the whole picture a sense of ethereality, like it might shimmer and vanish at the slightest breath. Lovely.
