Nice capture of this hummingbird. They have already left us on the east coast for the winter.

Beautiful shot, but I do believe the challenge description read "In Flight"? 7

Beautiful closeup; might live up to its name better if the source of fuel showed more, but that's picky.

nice ruby-throated the feather texture on the breast is very nice

Nice photo, I love the color combinations here. I personally would have left the negative space in the direction your subject is facing tho rather than behind it. And as it isn't actually "In flight" I think you'll get marked lower for it.

Hmm. Never got that close to a hummer, should his beak have been in the feeder if he was getting fuel?

I like the dark green colors in this shot.

VERY good hummingbird shot! It's lovely. The tongue is a GREAT touch! That said, even though I love THIS shot more than most hummingbird shots, for this challenge, I'd have preferred it to be really flying. 7 Rob the Swash

Nice capture. The focus could of been a bit more sharp along with a bit more light on the bird. This is very good and I applaud you.

great closeup, not in flight

Not an easy capture, and well done. However, it is not in flight, as the theme requires. I wonder how it will do.
