I've seen a lot of those videos with Coke and Mentos...some real crazy stuff. The technicals are absolutely perfect, but compositionally it's a bit static.

Maybe the whole bottle would have worked better...I think it's the crop and composition that is bothering me. I think the lighting could have been a little better also.

From some of the vids I have seen with this, I would imagin you could get a really unreal effect. This just looks like a foaming bottle to me. but it does have nice lighting and seperation.

That reminds me --- I've been meaning to try this! ... I think you were successful at creating an interesting image here. The background is simple and professional while the coke has a nice warm color - strangely, it almost has lost its movement - looks sort of like a sculpture.

They did that on Mythbusters and then did some other stuff and Jamie had one shoot up over 30 feet. It was GREAT.
