Lovely, tender and so beautiful. Robert, you rock! Congratulations on your top 20 finish.

Great shot. Congrats on your high finish!

Here's the shot I took the same night as "The Wedding Tree", while I was standing next to Robert (Bear_Music). I took it with an old Sony Mavica digital which currently cannot store EXIF data on the memory card (a floppy disk), so I didn't enter to challenge for fear of being DQ'd. The evening light faded quickly behind a high cloud bank out over the Pacific. Nonetheless, time at Ecola Point overlooking the Big Blue is always a gift! It was good to spend time with Robert Ward (Bear_Music), Steve Davidson and Jason Friesen (DrAchoo) at our home in Cannon Beach. Congrats Robt on 15!

Congrats on the 15th place...6.4 ain't half bad but should have scored higher, of course.

What a wonderful picture bear ... congrats on the top 15 :)

Very nice. As high as your score was, it should have been higher.

I much prefer the processing on this to some of your recent submissions. Well composed, and possibly deserved an even higher score.

What gorgeous tones and a beautiful scene. I'm a bit surprised this didn't finish even higher. Even the trolls couldn't poo poo it!

Ahhh the famous Canon beach I presume? Beautiful light and landscape. Effective composition. Top 10 for sure.

The sky feels sorta washed out compared to the strong foreground colour. Good comp though. Do you have a shooting buddy? ;) Saw a similar scene a little while ago...

Beautiful scenic photo, the color and exposure is very nice. The composition is also very good. Well done!

Nicely detailed image. Good swell coming in there too. A pleasant place for wedding photos. I like the delicate hues in the sky.

Isn't this the same tree as in 'Tenacity' in this challenge? This has better comosition though I feel.

gorgeous backdrop. the couple are hardly visible, so the casual observer misses the point, you probably get punished in voting for that. the tree itself is not terribly interesting, but the photo as a whole has a lot of charm to it, if given more than a cursory glance.

Was wondering why the wedding tree? Then I saw the couple...lovely scenery but the tree although special is rather scruffy no?

This little tree has had a lot of visitors this week.

a nice shot, lacking clarity.

Lovely composition with the girl running down the hill. I wonder if the pastel pallette couldn't use a smidge of deepening? Maybe that's just my taste. 7
