I converted to b/w to get a grittier feel, your loss is you can't see the 90 minutes of battle scars I put on - two black / yellow eyes, blood, swollen cheek isn't visible in this shot but it's there.
I was going for the Jake LaMotta (Raging Bull) look.
When I finished editing I noticed the crop wasn't the best, I should have been tighter on the face/hands - whoops.
hi jp ...
found the nicest comment in my portfolio today and i've got an excellent new name as well!! ... love it ...
so i went and had another look thru your work ...
found this beauty ... but it doesnt look like such a nice comment could come out've such an aggro guy!! ... :) ...
this is a great shot and i love the noise/grain wotever & the excellent expression .. apparently you're an ok photographer and a budding actor as well .... lol ... the 'ok photographer' is me making a rather large understatement bye the way ...
Awesome stuff, JP. The processing is great, giving it an old-fashioned feel with the b/w and noise. I think you've got Cindi up against the ropes with this shot :)
OMG these are GREAT. Lots of thought and great execution!!!
You look like a big fat sweaty polack, and your meaty, like those old world boxers. AWESOME, and favorites.
