 This is a closeup / macro of a very small rose, cut from my in-law's garden. The green background is a green gel flashed against white seamless paper.

A fair amount of spot-editing to fix some blemishes on the rose itself. I also selected the background and then applied a very strong gaussian blur to add a "glow" to the whole photo.
