Had a photo shoot with this little girl and her parents. She just did not want to be there. This was our attempt to have her lay on the floor on propped up arms with her hands under her chin or on one face with an adorable smile. As you can see, that did not happen. But I think I like this shot better.

This is an absolutely stunning photo - I love it. Wish I could do portraits like this! Congrats on your top 10 finish, although this should have ribboned.
I certainly understand the "reluctant" part. I like the pose and overall composition. The soft colors work well with the model. Reflection adds just a bit of depth, but not too much. The only thing that stands out that may be improved a bit is the transtion midway where the color doesn't quite fade into the white background; but perhaps that is your intent. Well done.
