Beautiful reflections and shadows in the shot really help to bring out the details. I like the lighting that you chose for the piece. Great depth of field help to make the ridges pop out of the picture.

interesting subject...is it a mushroom? anyway, its good dof, although i wish there wasn't so "much" subject OOF up front - just a little hard on the eyes...but I'm the last one who should say that... nice work. good lighting and clarity.
