i think the head/shoulders is the best part of the shot in terms of light and texture. would love to see a crop in that direction.

Nice. I'm not sure I'm taken with the tight crop, especially around the sides. His face looks good. If the background was all dark (like the right) or all textured (like the left) that may help balance it a bit.

Very sharp and great lighting, colors and contrast. doesnt hurt that he's hot either. ;)
