Nice shot. I love the way the haze fades the pier while keeping the subject in the forground in higher contrast. The angle of the shoreline works well to add dynamics to the horizontal and vertical lines of the pier. Good photo.

Cropping the upper third of the photo will give it a better composition. The pier is too centered.
