This shot was really split on people loving or hating the selective colour - so here is a mono version of the shot... I kept the red of the boa because I felt the image lost a little punch in mono. I wish I'd used a really shallow DOF to blur away the trees but it was a tough lighting situation and maybe I need to go back and reshoot!

Nice tones here.
A story being told, a difficult lighting situation with the backlight, and a good use of selective desaturation, which so often doesn't work, all add up to a photograph well done.
This is great. I love the title because it allows for the mystery to be easily realized here.
That's really what the title is for IMO - to make the 2-10 seconds we look at the image help us see what the photographer was thinking ...
and the ... um ... well this whole morning after idea - a hurricane, a saultry affair, a murder ... very intriguing and beautiful. Not a think negative I can say here. 10
I like this one, but would possibly have tried a shallower depth of field to try and knock out some of the detail in those bushes. That way the eye couldn't even get past the girl (not that my eye wanders away very far anyway hehe)
An interesting bit of color saturation, but what I find interesting about this photo is the light play happening throught the various openings. Especially the highlights on her face and shoulders. Great job!
-I like the selective desat!!
-Cool lighting
-The subject doesnt really match the setting, I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but for me it is a bit odd

I really like the light and the composition. I'd have preferred either all in duotone/B&W or in color, maybe desaturated a little (not knowing what the color version looks like, of course.)
I like the symmetry, light and subject matter. Not crazy about the red boa. I think it would have been more effective to leave it all BW. Just my opinion. ;~D
