This little guy (about 8mm) was nice enough to withstand chilling/thawing/chilling/thawing repeatedly until I could get enough shots between her arousing and shooting out of camera range to have this entry. The sand (stolen from a sand pile next door) and the shells (collected 30 years ago and waiting for a good use) were added to "play" with the scale of the ant. Beautiful closeup of a beach scene. The beautiful lighting and shadows really make the shells pop out of the pictue. Love the ridges on them. The texture on the ant helps to make it look alive. Great shot.
