Wow what depth and clarity. Great clouds and wonderful subtle (non-nuclear) colors. Only nit is that the frame might be a touch on the heavy side for this shot.
I love this and would hope it does well. I fear thought that it may lose out marks to other shots with greater processing. It also seems a little small bearing in mind there was a 720 pixel allowance on this challenge. All that aside it is a great scenic shot, where perhaps the composition would have been improved if the tree had been a little more to the left.
Very, very nice! Heather is wonderful - and you have the most perfect day ever here, which you captured very nicely. The shadows from the clouds on the right, and of course that single tree, are what make this for me. Well, that and the fact that I love heather :-)
Although there is no water in the shot to see a unlevel horizon you will see that the clouds do this too, they are sloping extremely to the left and is a little off putting, this I feel will have hurt your end score a bit, shame as I really like the shot otherwise - great colours too.
