The moat is not defensive, it is the sewerage system.
A corner of the house and a part of the carriage and stable block are visible.

Nice photo, but it just doesn't pop. I think the problem may have been that you had a less than desirable sky to work with. But that wasn't really your fault, obviously. Nice effort though!
