this is really easy to do, although not legal in basic. i do a duplicate layer, and do a high pass filter on it, blending option soft light. do a layer mask, and just have the eyes show through. this sharpens and slightly darkens the eyes. i do another layer and set it to screen in the blending options, using the same layer mask pattern. i usually set the opacity of the screen layer a bit lower, or it looks a little freaky...Message edited by author 2006-09-10 13:27:14.

I like the composition, but the overall tone seems a bit "flat".
(my defaults) , OK, then Edit, Fade, fade to taste, but not below 50%. (60-70% looks pretty decent to me)
