good score, but upon further reflection is am absolutely sure i love this image. it accomplishes what I always try: to make the viewer enter the image and swim around for a bit.
Wow, what really makes this shot for me is how the city is visible in the background with a kind of grimy halo of light above it. Gives an awesome sense of depth for the railway and a bit of grit, which is nice.
'Hope you didn't put yourself too far in harm's way to shoot this. Both active and static, color and monochrome, near and far. Lots going on here. Ya done real good!
I'm very partial to this type of photo and yours is one of the best. The colours and moment are very well captured. Going places - it has a great appeal.
Hey, I knew that was in Sydney just by looking at the colour of the station building - even before reading the station name and seeing the skyline. Nice job in editing.
Love the subdued and dark mood presented here.
The levels and details here are very nice, and the use of the tracks as leading lines that draw my eyes to the glow over the city, all add up to adding this to my favorites. I only hope I can produce work this nice some day.
