 I've been trying to get interesting pictures of the incredible wiring which pervades the US urban environment.

I took this today walking to the bus. The trunk of the palm is very straight, and it lined up perfectly with the utility pole from across the street.

For a change, I'm not altogether happy with the title, so I'm open to suggestions.

That's very funny, and I like your title as-is (though I didn't catch the T at first). Other possibilities: "Trunk Lines," "Cocoknots," "The Vegetation Superhighway," "Palm Pilot," or simply "Palm Strings."

Excellent concept and a very creative viewpoint. I think this meets your objectives very well indeed - showing the contrast between the urban blight and natural selling point for the area.
