Beautiful shot and a score north of 6 is always a great thing! Nice composition (especially the foot steps) but overall it feels a wee bit too dark. Possibly if you had the luxury of shooting during a different time of day it might have been brighter? The border choice accents the darkness but on a more positive note, it makes it seem like I'm watching a beautiful movie that was filmed in the South Pacific. Pretty sky & water.

That's gotta be Punaluu on the big island. Great shot... I ove the faint green surrounded by all the darkness. 9 in my book.

A little too dark (for the time of day especially) but otherwise a good take to the challenge.

This photo has an interesting combination of dark and foreboding, and peaceful and serene. Fascinating!

A nice image, but very dark. I'm not a fan of the black "widescreen" bars.

this is a stunning, rich image...the dark shadows add to this and it has a real big screen cinema look...nice work

Would look much better without the border

Must be Hawaii with the black sand. This is really nice and a pleasant change from most.
