Top 20? Eeeeeeeee yay!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all so much!!
This is my highest scoring image to date and if you had told me just a while ago I'd get an image scoring above 6, I wouldn't have believed it.
Thanks so much for all the comments!! This is a photo of the double yellow lines in the road on the street I live on. I gave it a different texture as the highly rough texture of the original shot didn't work for me. The blue color came basically through level adjustments, as the only hue changes I made were to get rid of a couple of weirdly colored spots in the middle. I am quite glad that the colors and texture appealed to others as well. :-)
You not only captured an great abstract here, but also the color contrast is excellent, so balanced, and also the textures arre quite amazing as well.....
the colors in your pic are really great. the muted blue against the bright yellow works for me. there is no subject, but there are so many. the cracks in the road, the little stones, the paint on the road. there's much to see in this abstract image :)
again, congrats on your top 20 place. you did good :D
Kelly, being able to take such a photo of such a boring thing and make it art shows a very artistic eye. Lines in the road... I never would have though about shooting lines in the road like that.
Very cool abstract photograph. The blue and yellow tones grab my attention to keep me looking longer at this photo, and I'm pretty sure I know what I'm looking at. Great job!
