Looks a little out of focus. It may be because your lens was to perfectly perpendicular to the penny, which is indicated by the "ovalness" of the penny.
There is nothing about this photo that makes it original. No interesting angle etc. Yes, you made it big and took out the colour, but it's not interesting.
Nice closeup of a penny. Would like to see a little bit more sharpness in the penny. Lighting is good. It helps to show some good shadows and reflections to lift the engraving out of the picture. Increasing sharpness may give texture of the copper.
