I took this photo at home, first for my mom :) .. then I saw the Challenge and Here I am.. this is my first time:)I hope U like the photo..
This is what I did:
I took a tablecloth and creased it just a little put the rose on top and sprayd water over here 2 get the bling bling on the rose and the leafs and then snapp with a flash Focal length 32.0 mm..
In the P.S.cs2 I did a contrast ( I erased/masked the contrast of the rose), sharpen, and auto Levels and a frame ,save for web
p.s. I hope I did every thing right(Advanced Editing) :,
ok then thanks and god bless ...

I like the busyness. Did you play with other versions, altering contrast, saturation, whites... or doing b/w? If so, would love to see them when this is over.
The Idea of a rose on a silk cloth is great. But I think it would be better if you used a much softer kind of light from the side. This is very hard and flat. Maybe just ambiebt light, camera on a tripod and a long exposure would have helped?
Don't know about the rose being slap in the middle of the image, but the metallic look of the silk and the softness of the rose go wonderfully well together.
The background material is too busy for my liking and there's too much light reflection off it. I think I would like to have seen the leaves rather than black 'splodges'.
