I like the point of view you used for your photo. It captures the essence of childhood with the child heading away from the adult. A sort of metaphor. Not sure I totally like the noise which seems to have been added. 7.

I'm afraid that grain is not the same as soft focus. This is also too much of a snapshot for the general voting DPC populous.

As a photo this is nice and I like the processing but for me this doesnt show soft focus (MHO)

This is not a soft focus picture. It can be a noisy shalow DOF picture, but not a soft focus.
