where to find proper rope? where there's boats... one suggestion was HMS Victory at Portsmouth. So off I travelled & there was a beautiful historic ship with rope of the large and nautical type :)

Nice shot with some nice texture, but for me the colour seems a little flat. I would suggest a little more contrast or even a moody mono shot. A nice image all the same though, nice woork.
Nice texture, nice earthy tones. I think the shot could be better balanced by cropping (or arranging the rope) so that the large strand is a bit more to the right and possibly aligned horizontaly. nice work.
