I like the light on the field and colour in the water but find the branches on the left and at the bottom of the frame a little distracting (IMHO)

The subject is to far away to be effective. Those branches in the foreground on the left and bottom are distracting.

this shot is too blurry...could be sharper...Just Kidding!!

There is no soft focus here. Soft focus has a misty character with the edges softened and bright areas turned like fog. It results of light difusion before the lens.

This looks like an "impressionism" image, and the focus is really soft, so it really does suit this challenge.....
